Also, can't wait to see the pictures of Daisy Mae with her Bendi Brush!! Hehe she's so cute!!
I see. I found a few links you can check out for alternatives to using Word:
Hopefully you'll find something you like from one of those links. Once you've installed the program of your choice to open up documents, it will typically ask you at the time of setup if you wish to use that as the default program to open up all files of that type. Once you've selected "Yes", then they will no longer be attached to Microsoft Word. Hope that helps
So my friend and I met yesterday and we decided to wipe everything out of our blog, Cassanita. The current posts won't pertain to anything related to what we're doing now since our new blog will be a book review type blog. We're doing all new "About Me"s and formatting, etc. It will be exciting 🙂
Also, I've accepted another job offer so I'll be going back to having 1 job only! Very happy to have some time back and be able to do more writing. Marc has also asked me to do a guest post on the 4cats toys that S'mores and Oreo received and I haven't been able to do it yet 🙁 I've only gotten as far as posting on their Instagram account. But! Once I settle in with 1 job only in 2 weeks, I'm sure I'll be able to find more time to do the guest post. Hehe
Congrats on your new job. Where is at and what will you be doing. I just found out today that I won the cat shirt giveaway. I'm excited. I entered a contest on catchatwithcarenandcody.com and actually won. Will send a picture of the shirt when I get it. More about winning. I have Bendi Brush Pictures with my cat. Pictures 1 is of Daisy Mae checking Bendi Brush Out, Picture 2 is Me brushing Daisy Mae and Picture 3 is after Daisy Mae is Brushed. I'll soon get these pictures out on my blog. When I don't know.
Enjoy the pictures. Today was something, we get a phone call around 4:15 to 4:30 A.M. Eastern Time and first thought on all our minds when heard about the fire behind our house was Dad's new shed is on fire. Luckily it wasn't. However, a line was down and that caused most likely caused the fire in the woods. It had been windy and just rained some and normally I'm against rain or snow but today I was so glad it was wet mainly because the woods probably wood of been on fire if it had been dry. Our electric was on and off at least 6 times today. Oh what a day today was. All the Spookies are coming out early before Halloween!! LOL. With my pictures attached, Picture 1 is at the bottom, Picture 2 at the top and Picture 3 is in the middle.
Hi ladies and forum members!
Have missed you loads! Sorry for being away for so long.
Thedizziness/nausea lated for around 3 weeks ? It's something I've had a few times previously, called labyrinthitis. Nothing can be done for it, apart from treat the nausea. By the time I was over that, I didn't have much time left to get items and cats ready for The Supreme Cat Show, which was held last Saturday. I had Onni and Dewey entered, but wasn't sure how they'd cope as they were handled differently here from other shows they'd been too. They ended up handling it really well for their first times in that type of environment, and with so many people around them. We were so proud of them. As a bonus, they both got 2nd place in their classes too. ? I also met Marc and Iain from Katzenworld at the show. They were lovely, and it was great to actually chat in real life ?
Crystal, I'm so pleased your Mom's leg has finally healed! Love the photos of you and Daisy-Mae with the bendi-brush. How do you find using the brush? Is it more efficient than a regular brush?
Anita, fantastic news on your new job - congratulations!! I'm sure you'll be grateful if the extra time chilling with your girls. ? Thanks so much for keeping in touch during my blog absence, it was very caring of you.
Hello Ladies ~
Ah, switching jobs is so much work! Training my replacement, and being trained at the new job hehe. But, it feels nice to only have 1 job again and my weekends back 🙂 Two weeks ago I got a really bad cold, was coughing so much 🙁 My mild asthma decided to creep up on me too and I was having trouble going up and down the stairs - so glad that's over!
Rose, that's awesome that you got to meet Marc and his partner Iain! Hope you, Onni and Dewey all had fun at the show. Glad they won 2nd place! Seems like your kitties are always winning awards at the shows you take them to, which I think is completely awesome! 🙂
Crystal, thanks for the photos of you and Daisy Mae! She's so super adorable 🙂
Hope everyone is having a wonderful Monday!
Hi everyone, sorry I haven't been on Katzenworld Forum but until I'm over my real bad cold, I'm not blog hopping or going to be on the Forum. I just found out I did win The Trainable Cat Book. If I'm correct Anita you and Rose won that book. I wrote a piece on the Bendi Brush. I think it might be coming out on December 9, 2017. Anita, hope you're feeling better and glad you're liking your job. Glad you have your weekends back. Have a good Tuesday.
Lovely to see you both here again! ? I hope you get well soon from your cold Crystal. Take care of yourself. Congratulations on winning your book too - it's lovely that all three of us won one. ☺️ Looking forward to seeing your guest post on the bendi brush.
Glad to hear you're feeling better from your cold Anita. Sounds horrid how your asthma was affected too. Are you all settled into your new job now? So good that you're not working so many hours, and getting some time to unwind and relax. It was lovely meeting Marc and Iain, and we were lucky enough to meet them the next weekend too! There was a National Pet Show in the same location, which is around an hour's drive from our house. So we went to look around that show too (no cats with us), and met up again. I'm looking forward to your review of the 4Cats toys, will be interesting to see whether your girls love them as much as our kitties do? Our cats just can't get enough! Doesn't really matter whether it's valerian or catnip, they love them! I will be doing more 4Cats toy reviews soon too.
Oh, I got my cattoo sleeve finished yesterday. The tattooist took some photos, but hasn't forwarded them on yet. When he does I'll post them to show you how it looks. ?
Take care all.
Hello Ladies ~
I thought I responded to your post last week ... guess it never went through 🙁
Yeah, my cold was awful! Really glad it's over and done with too 🙂 My girls love the toys!!! If they have nothing to do, one of them will always try to find one of the toys and play with it. Hehe it's so cute!! Ah the transitional phase is still taking some time at my new job so I haven't gotten around to writing the post yet. But soon!!
Hehe. I've been finally having more time to read on my spare time and work on my novel a little bit more so those have been taking priority over everything else 😛
Hope everyone is doing well, and Happy Thanksgiving!! 🙂
I've thought I've replied to people before, then found I hadn't. You're not alone with that.
Glad to hear your girls love the toys too! They do seem well loved by cats. I've bought a goody bag from the Katzenworld shop for my mum's cat and kittens. Keeping it until Christmas for them, so the kittens should be old enough to react to the catnip.
Just realised, I don't think I told you my mum had got 2 ragdoll kittens. Sadly she had to re-home her dog, as she was getting too strong for mum to walk. Mum's arthritis is getting worse, so the dogs walks were getting shorter, which meant she had more and more built up energy, so then was pulling more on her lead. It wasn't fair on the dog, who is a border collie so needs lots of excercise. Of course mum was heartbroken to make this decision, and she was crying her eyes out when we took the dog back to the shelter she came from. They're a no kill shelter, and vet potential new owners, so we felt that was better than us trying to re-home her.
At the same time that mum had admitted that she couldn't cope with her dog any more, my ragdoll breeder asked me if I knew anyone looking for kittens. I thought they'd be great for mum, as ragdolls can be a bit dog like. They'll greet you at the door when you've been out, and follow you around the house. So mum had 2 kittens, so when she's at work they keep each other company. Her other cat is a non pedigree. We call them moggies. What do you call them? Anyway, he used to go out most of the day, so she didn't think she could count on him for company. Ragdolls don't like to be alone. But now he stays in with the kittens a lot, which is really sweet. Sorry, waffled on a lot there!
Glad you're enjoying your extra free time. I'm afraid I haven't read your novel yet. I'd just started reading a series of books when you sent it, and I'm hooked on them! I'm downloading the next one as soon as I finish reading one. I have also downloaded your novel onto my kindle, so it's there waiting to be read. Only got a few books left in series I think.
I hope you and Crystal have a wonderful Thanksgiving. We don't celebrate here of course. But it always looks wonderful when I see the thanksgiving feasts they show on films and American TV shows.
We have another cat show at the weekend. Taking both Dewey and Onni again, who I've already started preparing. This marks my one year anniversary of showing, as this was the first show I went to last year with Onni as a kitten. It was a lovely, friendly show, with a Christmas theme. I'm really looking forward to it. ?
