Don't I know it. Daisy Mae my families cat did some exploring in the basement and found a hole and went in it. She got into problems. She was small enough since she was a kitten to get in the hole but couldn't turn around to come back out. Got Dad to rescue her. Come to think of it, Daisy Mae was rescued a lot when she was a kitten. She's 12 now so she doesn't explore as much. Glad you liked my advice. Can't wait to see Joel123's kitten. Have a great day. 🤣  🤣😻😹😹

Hi RoseyToesMeows, Things have been busy and hectic here. Daisy Mae is constantly Scratching and biting except when she's sleeping and me I had a 'freak' accident. I went to get the paper and I was holding onto the railing going down cement steps and I did what I normally did when I went to get the paper, I looked both ways to see if anything was coming since we live by a road. Nothing was coming and I went to take another step and before I knew it my left foot slipped and my leg bent back. I found out later I did in my toes too.  Keep in mind I only had slipper socks on pretty silly. Never had problems before. So I'm still recovering from that. Otherwise, my family and I are doing good. We're taking some time to ourselves for the next few days so if I don't answer you don't worry because I'll be away from my computer from Saturday to Tuesday. Since I have no phone or other technological gadget no gadgets for a few days. If I can I'll try to check Saturday Morning but no guarantees.  I'll be checking e-mail before that though. I've been working on my blogs too. Started reading more so I'm following some authors and just got on a Review Team and what I get to do  is the author sends me an ARC of the book and I read and give my honest review. My first review has been put on Goodreads and I'm getting ready to polish my first ARC Review.  I'm excited. 😍  😍📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📔📘📗📕📙📚📚📚📚📚📚 📚📚📚📚

Hi Crystal,

I remember you telling me about your accident (RoseyToesmeows is Rose Smith, I just changed my name to tie in with my blog). So your still recovering from that. It does sound like you hurt yourself quite badly. 😒

Daisy Mae doesn't usually scratch and bite does she? I don't recall you mentioning it before. If it is a new behaviour, could be worth a vet check when you get chance.

Enjoy your time with your family. 😀 Could be a good time to do some reading/book reviews too.

 Take care.

Rose.

Starting with Daisy Mae: her scratching has been going on for months now. She's been to the vet and all they could do is give her antibiotic shot and a steroid shot that only lasts a month. Otherwise they said they could do nothing for her. 😪  😪  😭  😭  😢  😢  😭  😭 My family and I don't know what to do.🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷 Thankfully she doesn't scratch to much since she sleeps most of the time.

As for me: I'm walking oh so much better but my ankle is still weak and since I did my toes in too I 'm not walking normal yet but I'm doing better. Yeah.

Hi Crystal, sorry for the late reply.

Perhaps Daisy Mae is allergic to something, and that's leaving her itchy? Have you discussed this possibility with your vet? Like with people, it's not good to be giving her antibiotics if she doesn't need them, as she could become resistant to them. Our vet only gives them when there are definite indications of a bacterial infections because of this.

How's your ankle doing now? Are you managing to walk on it properly now? - I hope so.

Rose.

RoseyToesMeows no problem about the late reply. I'm just glad you replied. I do think Daisy Mae is allergic to something. We have and our vet didn't  know what to do. My ankle and foot are much better. Thank goodness. Not 100% but at 95%. I think now I broke my 2 middle toes on my left foot. I think that because they won't bend yet.😪😪😿😿 I guess it is going to take longer but at least I can walk properly now. Yeah...

I don't know how much I'll be on my blog these next few months. You see I found out some news in that affects me greatly. I can't say much because of respect and privacy but I will say this, the news was like being betrayed, a knife to to heart but you are still walking around and the news hurts, it really hurts a lot. I'm thankful nobody died(at least not literally). Now the situation has gotten worse.

I hope you and the kitty crew are doing well. I haven't seen posts by you lately just other people(reblogs). Just saying. I'm still going to read and follow you because I like your blog.

I'm guessing you will already have tried changing Daisy Mae's food, to see if that helps at all?

I've read that certain antihistamines can be used in cats. Is this something you've discussed with your vet? Apologies if I'm suggesting ideas you have already thought of (which is likely the case), but I know sometimes other people can come up with new ideas. So I thought it worth giving you my thoughts, just in case you hadn't thought of these yet.

I'm so sorry to hear that you may not be blogging as much in the next few months. I know how hard you've worked on your blog, and have proudly raised your followers numbers. It sounds like a very sad situation is happening for you. Sorry to hear that.

The Kitty Krew, Si and I are doing well thank you. Cookie is still doing really well, you wouldn't know she had her cancer! To think how scared we were of having no time left with her when she was diagnosed. We've been extraordinarily lucky from what I've read about the disease, which makes us so happy. 😃 Every day is a bonus 😻😃

Thanks for saying you will continue to follow me. 🙂 You have a valid point about my blog, it is lacking my own personal content. I worry about making my posts too long - you've seen how long my replies/forum posts can be! 😂😂 I do have some reviews in the pipeline though, and still have a number of Floofy Foot Friday posts to add. Oh, and my first giveaway too! Watch this space 😉

Rose.

Yes we tried changing food, No fish in her diet, changed from plastic dishes to metal and glass. I do think there is to much oil in the wet food but we can't find her original food she used to eat anywhere.

I guessed you would have looked at this already.

I guess the main thing is whether the scratching is bothering her. As long as she's not scratching herself so much she breaks the skin, is becoming bald or is stressing herself out, then perhaps just accept it and live with it. 🙂

Accepting it and living with the problem looks like is what it's going to be. 😉  🙂  🙂  🤩  🙂
